I read the Martian chronicles as a kid. It's time to reread it. I an see how it's influenced my own work after reading this refresher. My first book "Year Five - Book One In the Mobius Strip Series" also deals with the colonization of Mars, repetitive cycles of mankind's history, Man's hubris and arrogance, and ancient civilization

My newest idea will feature bradbury in a way I don't think has ever been done before! I'm excited to get it started.... but I'm currently in they middle of Year 5000, book 2 in the Mobius Strip Series.... so it may just have to wait and brew a bit.... or I may attempt to write two stories simultaneously. Just ask yourself this;
Were the works of Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury, and Zamyatin just dystopian works that gave educators tools to use against the fascism and communism of the times? Or were they actually a real life warning to prevent the future they described?
